A Time To Move is proud to have participed in The Forgotten Soldiers annual packing event, sponsored by The Classic Residence by Hyatt in Lantana. The event was held in November 2009. The Forgotten Soldiers Outreach mission is to continually encourage the men and women who are abroad fighting for our great nation. Their purpose is to inspire hope, strength and courage while they are separated from loved ones, families, and friends. This outreach is committed to the American soldiers for as long as they are deployed. A Time To Move helped to pack 200 boxes of goodies for the soldiers overseas, sending items such as toiletries, food and of course encouragement letters.
The Forgotten Soldiers Outreach have been able to continue their mission over the years with monthly “We Care” packages and have sent out 40,000 individual “we care” packages to date, benefiting approximately 1,000 individuals on a monthly basis and an estimated 100,000 plus individuals serving in ALL world theaters over the years. As time goes on, the list continues to grow, with many soldiers actually now registering themselves to become monthly recipients of our program.
